"My Verdict...."

Let me start this off saying that I'm not someone who hates your animations but someone who's actually a fan of them... I await your new episodes every time they're in the portal...

So then why the seven?

Pros:
-The same awesome sprite animation I've come to expect from you.
-A great new chapter story
-Fight scenes still look great
-Luigi and mario are still funny
-You incorporate things from both games quite well
-You fit the original characters from dragon ball z
-For the most part the sound is great

Cons:
-The new 3d ship looks like crap and doesn't seem to fit well into the background
-The new "high-quality" models aren't my kind of thing
-Some of the sounds I didn't like...
-This one was considerably shorter then the previous one
-Nothing new introduced in fight scenes
-I had to wait a year

Verdict:
It seems like the risks you took weren't the right ones... The ship I didn't like and the high-quality models weren't to my liking either... I still voted a 4 because it was worth the watch and, I suppose, worth the wait. I'd like to see you take the fighting scenes to a different level instead of the same ol' thing that you seem to repeat with every movie.

I'm probably going to get a "useless" review, but hell, I'm aloud to speak my mind...

For what you had to work with (the audio submission and all) you did this amazingly. The voice does remind me of robin williams... it seems that some people didn't see the "talk like a pirate" competition and are voting on you for it being short...

one complaint... there should be blood and a bullet which goes through the guy. minus one point, but still 5/5

but there needs to be more to it. The music was amazing (hah) and the idea wasn't too shabby either. What I would recommend is having a few more options and things. Adding the backgrounds was cool, and the choice of music was good too. I'd recommend maybe a ball of yarn, maybe... milk, options to pet the cat, and maybe even being able to customize the cat. You could even, if you're willing, make it start as a kitten and you make it grow up. And, yes, I do realize what I just suggested would take time, but it would also raise your score significantly. And thanks for using my song, it's much appreciated.

I wasted 30 minutes of my time on this... so there's an up, it's goddamn addictive. Well... you should've made it more interesting possibly with upgrades and crap. For ex... more durable wings (can withstand one or two hits), hard head (bounces much less off the wall), and the upgrade to mute the damn music... it got so annoying you have no idea... maybe also a little better graphic transitions... one more suggestion would be a better "tutorial". I left the first screen not exactly knowing what to do. ya.... have fun.

you need to do two things... one. actually sync the notes instead of replaying the same loop over and over again... two a pre-loader... so, um yeah, work on that.

Good idea, somewhat good execution. My recommendation for doing a game like this is either spend more time on the art... or hire someone to do it for you. You should get some music in the background too. One thing I would really like to see in this game is making it so "enter" submits the answer instead of having to press enter... also, every new slide delete what you put in there the first place.

Overall, fun and interesting.

I have a few recommendations though...

1. Possibly add transitions from room to room. A simple effect which I think will add a lot.

2. Maybe add another element as, say, bullet time. Since it seems that they hit every time, you may want to make it easier to dodge.

3. Possibly, instead of bullet time, make a like 5-10% chance that they miss.

4. Difficulty levels.

Really, this was a good game, and looks like you took a decent amount of time to make it. Good job.
